Why plans and a site visit matter
Project pricing depends on removal, access, drainage, reinforcement, finish selections, and total square footage. Every customer receives a written estimate after an on-site review.
Loads drive design
Passenger cars, heavy trucks, lifts, machine tools and storage racks create different demands. Approved documents should define thickness, reinforcement and thickened areas.
Site work matters
Excavation, unsuitable soil, aggregate, compaction and access can rival visible slab cost. Remote shops may need pumping or longer equipment travel.
Embedded decisions
Plumbing, drains, electrical sleeves, anchor bolts, insulation and vapor barriers must be coordinated before placement. Missing one often means costly cutting later.
Ask for boundaries
The proposal should identify excavation, forms, base, reinforcement, concrete, finish, saw cutting, curing, testing, permits and exclusions. Compare only scopes built from the same plan.
Turn research into a site-specific plan.
Online guidance can narrow choices, but elevations, soil, access and use determine the actual scope. A free site walk replaces assumptions with a written proposal.
