Why an on-site estimate matters
Project pricing depends on removal, access, drainage, reinforcement, finish selections, and total square footage. Every customer receives a written estimate after an on-site review.
Access changes labor
Backyards often cannot accept a truck. Gates, fences, slopes, stairs and finished lawns affect excavation and placement. Pumping or hand transport adds cost but may protect the property and placement quality.
The ground below
Organic soil, old pavers, roots and saturated clay must be addressed before aggregate is compacted. A cheap slab over soft ground is expensive when it settles.
Finish choices
Broom finish is efficient. Color, stamping, borders and sealing add materials and skilled labor. Complex curves increase forming and joint planning.
Build a complete scope
Include excavation, disposal, base, reinforcement, concrete, finish, joints, cleanup and cure guidance. Confirm whether landscaping repair, permits, steps or drainage structures are outside the price.
Turn research into a site-specific plan.
Online guidance can narrow choices, but elevations, soil, access and use determine the actual scope. A free site walk replaces assumptions with a written proposal.
